Marie's role extends to supporting local authorities to fulfill their commitments to EU targets for energy efficiency and decarbonisation by 2030 and 2050.

Commercial Manager with 12 years operational and project management experience in the energy industry. He has managed 15GW of distributed energy resources globally for Enel and has spent the last few years in renewables consultancy advising on commercial operations and strategy. 

John serves as the Energy Officer for Sligo, with qualifications in Building Management Services. He plays a key role in advancing climate initiatives, targeting GHG emission reductions in line with the 2015 EU Paris Agreement. His efforts in decarbonising the built environemnt and rolling out ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems are crucial for Sligo's progression towards a net zero economy.

Michael has over a decade of experience in the public sector, starting as the HSE's first Energy Officer in 2014 and now managing CARO ASBN's Energy Bureau. He has established Energy and Green Teams, contributing to Sligo University Hospital's SEAI Award and Green Flag Status in 2018. Currently, he oversees five Energy Officers, aiming to meet 2030 and 2050 targets by identifying retrofit projects and electrifying local authority fleets.

Specialising in solar, battery, and wind projects, he guarantees quality design, drafting, and development. His deep understanding of renewable energy technology, electrical engineering, BESS systems, site conditions, and grid integration drives the success of utility-scale farms.

Her understanding of the Planning Process, Policy and Regulation in the Renewable Energy sector; Design and Development of onshore Wind, Solar and BESS projects enables her well rounded coordination of planning applications, working closely with the relevant Stakeholders.

Cathal is the Energy Officer for Donegal County Council, with a Bachelor's Degree in Building Services Engineering and extensive experience in design, equipment supply, and energy assessment. A Certified Energy Auditor with the AEE, his role is pivotal in evaluating energy-saving proposals, developing a register of opportunities and steering the council towards its 2030 emission targets and 2050 net zero goals.

Max works with the renewable energy team on site acquisition & landowner negotiation in UK. Max is an experienced and talented negotiator, who seeks mutually beneficial contracts with tact and diplomacy. He graduated from Trinity College in 2016 with a B.A in Business & Russian and participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Rugby 7s.

Killian is an expert negotiator, at ease with navigating his role with diplomacy, respect, tact and discretion.

John has over 25 years in Construction Management and retrofitting of domestic and commercial units. He currently co-ordinates the Retrofit Ready Programme for Cavan, Monaghan, Sligo & Leitrim. John excels at collaborating and co-ordinating retrofit events, bridging the gap between suppliers and the community.

Gaye is a Solar & BESS expert and electrical engineer with 8+ years in solar PV across Canada, the EU, and Africa. Specialising in project feasibility, design, and construction, he leads in development, scheduling, grid connections, and strategic planning. His expertise ensures informed decision-making and effective risk management in renewable energy projects.

As Assistant Project Manager, Ryan specialises in renewable energy development offering technical guidance and comprehensive feasibility studies. His expertise in community projects includes comprehensive technical, planning, and financial analysis. Committed to leading projects from inception to completion, Ryan equips clients with the insights needed for informed decision-making on sustainable energy solutions.

Jordan is the dedicated Energy Officer for Galway County Council, where he identifies and implements carbon reduction projects. His expertise extends to conducting comprehensive energy audits on public buildings, ensuring sustainable operations across the community. Jordan holds a Master's degree in Climate Change and is further enhancing his qualifications with a Master's in Sustainable Energy Engineering.

Ryan is the Energy Officer for Galway City Council. His role focuses on guiding the council towards its 2030 emission targets and 2050 net zero goals. As an Energy Systems Engineer (B.Eng, M.Eng, MIEI) Ryan specilaises in identifying energy-saving opportunities, conducting SI426 energy audits, modeling carbon emissions with SEAI's Gap to Target tool and managing grant applications.
